If you are coming to visit Eurochild one day, here are directions on how to reach our office, coming from: Brussels International Airport (Zaventem): Apart from taking a taxi (count around 20-30 Euros, depending on traffic), there are two other possibilities of reaching the office upon arrival at the airport. You can either catch a train (2.80 Euros one way) to Central station (gare centrale) or a Bus (N°12 - Airport Express) to the centre (3 Euros one way). From the Central train station you can take the Metro line N°1 in the direction of "Hermann-Debroux" (1a) or "Stockel" (1b), change at "Arts-Loi" station into Metro line N°2 in the direction of "Simonis" and get out at "Madou" station. Exit the metro at "Chaussee de Louvain". 1-2 Rue des Arts is on the corner, look for an "Olivier Dachkin" hair salon. Eurochild is above the hair salon, on the first floor (not counting the ground floor). For a map of the Brussels metro, please click here. For a map of the whole public transport network of Brussels, please click here. We advise you to buy a ticket for 10 trips in the Metro station. This is cheaper (11 Euros for the 10 rides) than buying a single ticket (1.5 Euros at the counter & 2 Euros in the buses and trams) and you can use it again next time you come to Brussels. They are valid in all the Metro, busses and tramways of the STIB (local transport company). If you take the Airport Express, the ticket you get there will also take you to the final destination on any other means of transport. They are all valid for 1h.
From the main train station (Gare du Midi / Zuidstation): From the main train station the best way is to take the Metro line N°2 in the direction of "Simonis" and get off at "Madou" station. Exit at "Chaussee de Louvain". 1-2 Rue des Arts is on the corner. Eurochild is above an "Olivier Dachkin" hair salon. You ring the bell named "Eurochild" and once we've opened the door you walk up to the first floor (or take the elevator, but it actually takes longer than walking...), where the office is situated on the first floor (not counting the ground floor). In case you land at Charleroi Airport (also called "Brussels South"), there are shuttle buses (navettes), which bring you to the main train station in Brussels (Gare du Midi). There, you take the metro and follow the itinerary described above.
