Impact of the Crisis

In 2008 one in five children in the EU lived at risk of poverty. Since then Europe has experienced its deepest economic crisis since before the 2nd World War. Official data takes time to collect, analyse and publish. In the meantime millions of children, young people and their families are being affected by both the crisis itself and the austerity measures purportedly taken to help exit the crisis.
