Eurochild's work in the area of Child and Youth Participation

Eurochild's Thematic Working Group on Child and Youth Participation was kicked off at the workshop on the same theme, which took place during the Annual Conference in Malta in November 2007. Amongst the participants were around 20 young people from 5 different European countries, who actively participated also in the plenary sessions of the conference. The workshop itself was coordinated by several young people from createXchange.

The main participation event in 2008 will be a Members' Exchange Seminar on child and youth participation, which will take place on 2 October in Cardiff, Wales/UK, following the IFCW World Forum (co-organised by Eurochild's member organisation Children in Wales).

A first preparatory meeting between the coordinator of the group, the external expert and the Eurochild secretariat will take place on 25 June in Cardiff.

More information will be posted here as soon as it becomes available.
