EU Alliance for Investing in Children

Eurochild collaborates with over 20 European networks which share a commitment to end child poverty and to promote child well-being across Europe.

The EU Alliance has been advocating for the full implementation of the European Commission Recommendation ‘Investing in Children – Breaking the Cycle of Disadvantage’ since its adoption in 2013. In 2020 this gained new momentum with the promise of a European Child Guarantee.

Alliance partners believe EU policy and funding can catalyse political commitment and policy reform at national level, thereby driving systemic change and improvements in the lives of children and young people across Europe.
