CATS Report 2016 Local to global, how will we influence policy?
The 300 participants spent one week from July 27th to August 1st in Caux, Switzerland. Through daily workshops, interactive sessions all together, community discussion groups, and other activities, participants built up recommendations and proposals on the different SDGs (the UN's Sustainable Development Goals) and what could be done locally and globally.
The goal of the forum was to see how children and young people could truly influence policy. Participants went through a process of getting to know the SDGS, decided which one they considered most important and made general proposals to address them. All of this was done through the lens of the 3 Ps: People, Planet, Possibilities.
